Yasuo In League Of Legends

If you play video games and you are a big fan of them; chances are that you’ve stumbled upon a game called League of Legends. “What is League Of Legends?” You might ask; well, here is an intro to LOL for you newbies. (^^)/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BGtROJeMPeE

For you people who already know what League of Legends is, you probably know that Champions in league of legends uses a resource called “mana” to cast their spells... well... most of them. (Luckily the champion “Teemo” is one of them, or else people will just rage at that little demon and quit the game XD).

There are also champions that do not need mana to cast spells and they are sometimes labeled as “Op” (Example: Garen ,Riven , Darius, , Etc.). There are also champions who use their own health to cast spells (Examples: Dr. Mundo and Vladimire ). Each champion has their own distinct passive and skills, they also have their own unique gameplay style.)

Out of all champions, my favorite is an assassin class champion called “Yasuo”.

Yasuo is an extremely difficult champion, however, if mastered, this champion can win you ANY games and you will become very good at this game (Unless the Enemy Bans Yasuo). Why is Yasuo such a great champion if mastered and why is he so hard to play? Well, lets have an analysis on Yasuo: Yasuo’s Passive is “Way of the Wanderer” This passive has 2 parts: 1. Yasuo’s Critical Strike chance is Doubled, which means he has 50% to crit every time he deals damage. 2. Yasuo has a distinct feature called “flow”, for every 46 unit he moves,he gains 1% of his maximum flow. At maximum flow, the next time an enemy champion attacks him he will consume all of his “flow” and gains a shield that blocks 100- 500dmg (Depending on lv).Yasuo’s passive makes him move a lot to charge up his flow so he can attack his enemy and having the shield block damage for him. Double crit chance DOES sound a little OP but no... its not that simple, you will see as you read along....Yasuo’s Q is “Steel Tempest,”(Cool down: 4 seconds at lv 1). Yasuo thrusts his sword forward, dealing physical damage to all enemies in a line. Hitting an enemy grants “Gathering Storm” which stacks up to 2 times. At 2 stacks of gathering wind, Yasuo’s next “Steel Tempest”unleashes a whirlwind that deals the same physical damage as the regular skill and knocks up all enemies hit. This skill is incredibly hard to use and is one of the features that make Yasuo hard to play. 1st, getting 2 stacks of “gathering storm” takes a few times, also, when you have a whirlwind ready, your enemy knows that too and will prepare to dodge it (when Yasuo has 2 stacks of gathering storm an animation will play that shows that Yasuo's next “Steel Tempest” will be a whirlwind) also, the whirlwind is a skillshot and unexperienced players often have trouble landing them (Even I have trouble sometimes).

Yasuo’s “E” is “Sweeping Blade”(Cooldown:0.5,0.4,0.3,0.2, or 0.1 [Depends on your level]). Yasuo dashes a fixed distance in the direction of the target enemy, dealing magic damage and marking them briefly (For 10,9,8,7, or 6 seconds [depends on your level]). Yasuo cannot dash to targets marked by “sweeping blade” until the mark disappears. The speed of the dash scales with Yasuo's bonus movement speed; “Storm Tempest” can be used during “Sweeping Blade” to change the area of effect to a circle around Yasuo (You will still gain “Gathering Storm if you hit an enemy with it).

This skill is what makes “Yasuo” Yasuo, it has an extremely high outplay potential (You can dash around your opponent’s minions to outplay him/her) and if used correctly, can turn the tide of a fight, this skill too is very difficult to use, because that this skill has a “Fixed Distance”. New players will often dash into an enemy’s turret range and take lots of damage when trying to use a minion to juke the enemy. Yasuo’s “W” is “Windwall” (Cooldown: 26, 24, 22, 20, or 18 [Again, depends on your level]) Yasuo creates a gust of wind that travels forward to form a wall in front of him. The wall slowly drifts forward 50 units over 3.75 seconds, blocking all enemy projectiles with the exception of turret attacks.(Wall width: 300, 350, 400,450, or 500 [and again, depends on lv]). This skill is not THAT hard to use but the timing is crucial, some champions’ ult in league of legends is a projectile, and Yasuo can block it if timed correctly and can also change the tide of a team fight. Yasuo’s “R”(also known as “ULT”) is “Last Breath”. Yasuo blinks to the nearest visible knocked up (aka airborne) champion to the cursor, instantly generating maximum Flow. Upon arriving, he suspends all nearby airborne enemies in the air for 1 second and deals them physical damage. For the next 15 seconds, Yasuo ignores 50% of his targets' bonus armour. Casting Last Breath clears all stacks of Gathering Storm. (This skill can only be cast if there is an airborne target nearby). Range: 1200,Cooldown: 80,55, or 30 (I said “depends on level” so many times so this time im not saying it =3=, you should know that skills that have multiple selection of numbers depends on level by now).

Physical Damage: 200/300/400 (+150% Bonus Ability Damage)(Depends on level [I swear this is the last time I’m saying ‘depends on lv’]). This skill can also be used when an allied champion knocks up enemy champion(s)... not all champions have knockup abilities so the team Yasuo is in is crucial to Yasuo’s success (A good Yasuo player does not actually need team knockup... but if you want to relax for a while I suggest you to ask your allies to choose champions that have knockup skills.

Example of champions that have knock up: Janna/ Malphite.

This skill is what makes Yasuo such a hard champion... basically in a nutshell this ultimate skill makes a Yasuo that can’t land his “Steel Tempests” a bad Yasuo player and a good Yasuo player will land his whirlwinds and keep on ulting. (Yasuo’s only way of making enemies airborne is his “Steel Tempest” Whirlwind, which is an incredibly hard skillshot to land).

Adding All of Yasuo’s features together, he is basically an incredibly hard champion to play and has TONS of Damage because of his passive double crit chance but is extremely squishy (low health/ def, can be killed very fast) and relies on hitting his ultimate for the buff “ignore 50% of target armour” to kill his enemies instantly, he also has TONS of outplay potentials with his “E” “Sweeping Blades”, if used correctly, he can win you the game.

(A montage showing players playing Yasuo to his full potential

[Best Part Starts at 6:29 and is a prime example of outplaying opponents with “Sweeping Blade”], some mlg things included :D)

Thank You For Reading This Blog and have a nice day ^^
