Agar.io
Intro: Agar.io is one of my favorite games. I usually play it every other day when I have free time, and I don’t stop until I get bored of it. Agar.io was released on April 28, 2015, which is not too long ago. Agar.io is a multiplayer game, where you can have different modes: Teams, experimental, pvp, and a party mode.
The point of agar.io is to make your ball you start with which has about 20 small mass, larger. You are placed in a petri dish and you need to be constantly moving. There are also bombs (viruses) you need to be aware of; once you are big enough you will explode if you eat one. Agar.io is sort of like a multiplayer Pac-man. You can move around in any direction unless it’s the end of the petri dish, the petri dish is a square. There is also small mass (dots) which you eat to get larger; they are in most places of the petri dish. On computer you press W to eject mass, and you press space bar to split into half, on the mobile version you have special buttons you tap. The maximum you can split is 16 times, and then you can eat viruses and get larger.
The point of splitting is eating people a little less than half your size, unless they are split into like, 16 parts and each ball is about 1/3 of your size. Ejecting your mass is used to move faster because the larger you get the slower you are. Ejecting mass is also for teaming players. There are three modes: Teams (you automatically get assigned on a team: red, blue, and green) and there is a circle bar that shows which team has the most mass in total by showing the most color for the highest one, and the lowest color for the least out of the three teams. There is also an experimental mode which has a special virus (brown) which gives you small mass every couple of seconds or so. You can also grow viruses, but the brown viruses are different from the green ones. The green ones takes 7, and also the brown one does, but when you grow the green one it slides and makes another viruses, which you can aim at others while the brown one just slides slowly, and doesn’t duplicate your bomb. You could also defect bombs on the edge of the map and explode them like that. Party mode is when you get a serial code which you can share with a friend to play together. Teaming is very valuable in agar.io and fun because the other person is got your back, and you could do anything except if someone else eats you, or if your teammate betrays you.
There are also skins and boost you can buy in agar.io for lots of coins, like an xp boost to level yourself up, or become triple your size when you start (both limited times). Try this game out!
